KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s blue chips surged in early Tuesday trade, propelled by power giant Tenaga Nasional, as the FBM KLCI hit an all-time high of 1,840.14.
At 9.42am, the KLCI was up 8.67 points to 1,826.82. Turnover was 273.54 million shares valued at RM214.29mil. There were 175 gainers, 161 losers and 196 counters unchanged.
