Government urged to push private investment


KUALA LUMPUR: The Government needs to push private investment to drive the country’s economy as relying on private consumption is not sustainable in the long run, says Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) executive director Dr Zakariah Abdul Rashid.

He urged the Government to continue with its Economic Transformation Programme to support private investment growth.
