PETALING JAYA: PPB Group Bhd
’s net profit for its third quarter ended Sept 30 rose year-on-year by 15% to RM286.1mil on the back of revenue in the quarter rising by 6.5% to RM830.4mil.
Earnings per share rose as well to 24.13 sen from 21.02 sen.
PPB said in its Bursa Malaysia announcement that most divisions reported higher revenue except for the environmental engineering and property segments.
The company said that profits were driven by the better performance from the flour and feed milling, and the grains trading and livestock segments.
