KUALA LUMPUR: German airline Lufthansa continues to view Kuala Lumpur as an important hub and will begin five weekly non-stop direct flights from KL to Frankfurt next April.
“KL is an important hub for us, as important as Singapore and Bangkok. We believe in the sustainable development of the economy in Malaysia as well as the tourism sector here,” Lufthansa South-East Asia regional director Dr Christian Altmann said at a media briefing yesterday.
