PETALING JAYA: Fund manager Eastspring Investments Bhd expects the economic outlook for Asia, including Malaysia, to remain resilient on strong fundamentals, despite fear of the US Federal Reserve scaling back its stimulus programme.
Chief investment officer Chen Fan Fai said the local market did see foreign fund outflows when the fear initially struck, but the region’s strong fundamentals triumphed.
