Carlsberg Q3 earnings fall 37% to RM38.4mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd’s earnings fell 37% to RM38.43mil in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2013 from RM61mil in the same quarter a year earlier.

Revenue in the quarter deteriorated 14.3% to RM352mil from RM410.8mil previously, with profit before tax coming in at RM51.84mil – a fall of 34.8% from RM79.45mil before.
