Bank Negara foreign reserves at RM444.9bil

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara has announced that its official international reserves stood at US$136.6bil (RM444.9bil) as at Oct 14, 2013, sufficient to finance 9.7 months of retained imports.

In a statement, the central bank added that the international reserves were 3.9 times the short-term external debt.
