Darar Ehsan seeks RM55.6m in special damages from SAP Holdings

KUALA LUMPUR: Darar Ehsan Sdn Bhd is seeking RM55.66mil in special damage for purportedly loss of profits in its counterclaim against SAP Holdings Bhd, a unit of Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB).

KHSB said on Thursday that Darar Ehsan was also seeking a refund of the RM28.32mil, which the latter had paid to SAP.

KHSB said Dara Ehsan’s solicitor had filed its statement of defence on Oct 8 and it had a made the counterclaim against SAP for the special damages for RM55.66mil purportedly for the loss of profits suffered. 

Darar Ehsan also sought claims for general damages, exemplary damages, costs and RM28.32mil previously paid by Darar Ehsan to be refunded by SAP. 

”The company will make the necessary announcement on further development on this matter in due course,” KHSB said.
