Petronas looking to implement EOR technology at 14 maturing oilfields

JOHOR BARU: National oil company, Petroliam Nasional (Petronas), is looking at implementing Enhance Oil Recovery (EOR) technology to enhance the production on 14 of its maturing oil fields in the future.

Its vice president for Petroleum Management Unit (PMU) Ramlan Malek said the maturing oil fields were identified for possible EOR technology based on the screening study conducted by Petronas.
