Travelex to set up more outlets in Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: Travelex, a UK-based leading foreign exchange specialist, is planning to set up more outlets in Malaysia in line with Bank Negara’s move to enhance the local money services industry.

Its country manager for Malaysia Rakesh Aravind said the company would be working closely with the central bank in the areas of wholesale and retail foreign exchange services to ensure customers were protected and not short changed when dealing with licensed entities like money changers.
