Astro Malaysia's Q2 earnings up 4.6% to RM98.83m (Update)


KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd reported earnings RM98.83mil in the second quarter ended July 31, 2013, a slight improvement of 4.6% from the previous year's earnings of RM94.47mil.

It said on Wednesday that its revenue for the quarter rose 11.1% to  RM1.188bil from RM1.069bil. Earnings per share were 1.9 sen. Astro declared a dividend of 2.0 sen, bringing year-to-date dividend to 4 sen.
