EPF posts RM9.16b investment income in Q2


KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) posted RM9.16bil in investment income in the second quarter ended June 30, 2013.

It said on Tuesday this was a 19.7% on-year growth or RM1.51bil from a year ago.

"Equities contributed the largest share of investment income, generated RM5.60bil during the quarter under review compared with RM3.84bil in Q2 2012, reflecting a 45.7% hike or RM1.75bil," it said.
