KUALA LUMPUR: Banks in Malaysia are set to provide at least one Internet banking kiosk at all their branches nationwide to facilitate the public access to online banking and interbank GIRO (IBG) services by March 2014.
Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) deputy governor, Datuk Muhammad Ibrahim, said this effort was in line with the central bank's initiative to accelerate the migration to e-payments and was one of the key strategies in its Financial Sector Blueprint to be achieved by 2020.
