Nestle Q2 earnings up 16.4% to RM140m


KUALA LUMPUR: Nestle (M) Bhd's earnings rose 16.4% to RM140.24mil in the second quarter ended June 30, 2013 from RM120.49mil a year ago, boosted by strong domestic growth.

It announced on Thursday its revenue rose 5.6% to RM1.21bil from RM1.149bil while earnings per share were 59.8 sen compared with 51.38 sen.
