North American semiconductor equipment industry posts July book-to-bill ratio of 1.00


SAN JOSE: North America-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment posted US$1.2bil (three-month average basis) in orders worldwide in July 2013, with a book-to-bill ratio of 1.00 – healthy, but the lowest in the last six months.

The July book-to-bill ratio means US$100’s worth of orders were received for every US$100 of products billed for the month.
