PETLAING JAYA: The FBM KLCI fell 32.94 points at the close, the biggest one-day loss since Jan 21 this year, mirroring the worried Asian markets as foreign funds reduced their shareholdings in emerging economies and headed back to developed markets.
The benchmark index fell 1.85% to 1,745.42 points, but off the intra-day low of 1,737.58. Turnover was 2.62 billion shares valued at RM3.75bil. Declining stocks thrashed advancers by 964 to 75.
