KUALA LUMPUR: OCK Group Bhd's 16.835 million shares were traded in an off-market transaction on Monday at 47 sen each each.
Stock market data showed the price of the shares in the off-market deal was 47 sen, or 10 sen below Friday's closing price of 57 sen.
At 4.55pm, OCK was up 1.5 sen to 58.5 sen.
The 16.835 million shares accounted for a 6.25% stake, based on the ACE Market listed company's paid-up of 269 million shares.
StarBiz reported that fresh from buying a 10% stake in OCK Group, Lembaga Tentera Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) is looking at picking up an additional 5% stake in the former.
Last Friday, OCK said that it was placing out 10% of its stock to LTAT at 47 sen a piece, for a total of RM12.17mil.
The additional 5% would also be bought at the same price but this time it would be shares belonging to OCK's founder and managing director Sam Ooi and deputy chairman Abdul Halim Abdul Hamid, sources said.
The move, insiders said, should help OCK fulfil its requirement of fulfilling the bumiputra investor requirement for the company to get transferred to the Main Board.
