Tan Chong unit gets rights in Myanmar


PETALING JAYA: Nissan Motor Ltd (NML) has granted Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd (TCMH)’s fully-owned subsidiary ETCM (MM) Pte Ltd the sole and exclusive right to distribute Nissan vehicles for five years in Myanmar.

For the first three years there, the working capital requirement for the new business is reckoned to be US$2.5mil (RM8mil) and will be funded by TCMH’s internal sources.
