KLCI lower at noon, Sona Petroleum in focus


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its losses and ended the Tuesday morning session lower, dragged by losses in banks despite the regional market picking up pace after the yen weakened.

At 12.30pm, the KLCI fell 3.82 points to 1,794.96. Turnover was 1.2 billion valued at RM872.25mil. Losers beat gainers two to one at 418 to 198 while 311 counters were unchanged.
