KUALA LUMPUR: Selling pressure on CIMB and Maybank pushed the FBM KLCI into the red at the close of market on Tuesday while Sona Petroleum shares and warrants closed higher on its trading debut.
At 5pm, the KLCI was down to 3.7 points to 1,795.08. Turnover was 2.15 billion shares valued at RM2.07bil. There were 299 gainers, 436 losers and 323 counters were unchanged.
