KLCI closes higher (Update)


The FBM KLCI pared some of its gains on Tuesday’s close on late selling, as investors took profit from PetGas and MBSB while Wall Street continued to rally, extending gains in the regional market.

At 5pm, the KLCI rose 3.62 points or 0.25 to 1,766.49. Turnover was 1.51 billion valued at RM1.845bil. There were 466 gainers, 286 losers and 297 counters unchanged.
