VEGOILS-Market factors to watch June 21(Friday)

KUALA LUMPUR: The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets. FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures ended lower on Thursday, as global economic uncertainty spooked investors, although losses were limited by robust export data and a weaker local currency that sent prices to a near three-month high in the morning session.

* Brent crude oil futures dropped $4 on Thursday in the biggest one-day decline since November as part of a cross-market rout sparked by the U.S. Federal Reserve's Chairman plan to wind down monetary stimulus. MARKET NEWS

* Global equity markets, bond prices and commodities fell sharply on Thursday in a deep selloff, a day after the Federal Reserve said the U.S. economy was growing strongly enough for it to begin slowing its unprecedented stimulus.

* U.S. grain prices fell on Thursday amid a broad-based commodity selloff and a firming dollar, a day after the U.S. Federal Reserve signaled it was ready to slow down the pace of bond purchases.

* Commodities suffered their biggest selloff in a year and a half on Thursday as bleak Chinese data and the U.S. Federal Reserve's plan to reduce its stimulus efforts hurt the outlook for global growth. RELATED NEWS
