KUALA LUMPUR: The new chief executive officer (CEO) of Malayan Banking Bhd
(Maybank) might be announced as early as end of this month, said its chairman, Tan Sri Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor.
He said currently, the bank's board of directors was carefully scrutinising potential candidates, to find a person whom it believed could further transform Maybank into a globalised banking institution.
