KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) expects investments of US$20bil (RM60bil) in its west Canada liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project that aims to meet growing demand in Asia, a senior company official said.
The project, known as Pacific NorthWest LNG, would build two LNG trains of six million tonnes per year (tpy) each by the end of 2018 or 2019, vice-president of corporate planning Arif Mahmood told an industry conference.
