KLCI slips into red, BAT, PetDag down


KUALA LUMPUR: Selling pressure picked up on Malaysia's blue chips including BAT and Petronas Dagangan in afternoon trade on Tuesday, pushing the FBM KLCI into red.

At 2.50pm, the KLCI was down 4.92 points to 1,782.88. Turnover was 1.34 billion shares valued at RM1.17bil. Declining stocks beat advancers 450 to 280 while 290 counters were unchanged.
