Garuda to start Penang-Medan-Jeddah route next month


Medan: Garuda Indonesia plans to start a once-daily Penang-Medan-Jeddah flight next month using its new Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range) after the completion of this north Sumatran city's new airport.

Last Saturday, the airline began its twice-daily Penang-Medan flights with a96-passenger Bombardier Next Gen after a 10-year lapse.
