DRB-Hicom’s operating profit rises on higher revenue

PETALING JAYA: DRB-Hicom Bhd’s operating profit before exceptional items for its fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013 rose 166% to RM314.2mil year-on-year (yoy) on the back of higher revenue of RM3.36bil compared with RM2.12bil in the same quarter last year.

The company said in its filing with Bursa Malaysia that the increase in its topline was mainly attributed to the inclusion of Proton’s revenue in financial year 2013.
