KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's equities pared their early losses on Friday after the initial 13.7 points fall, while the broader market was still firm with advancing counters beating decliners more than two to one.
The selldown, due to initial profit taking on banks and Genting Bhd, were absorbed as investors viewed it an opportunity to buy them.
