Bank Negara maintains OPR at 3%


PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara is maintaining the benchmark overnight policy rate (OPR) at 3% following a meeting of policymakers at the monetary policy committee (MPC).

The central bank, which has maintained the OPR at 3% since May 2011, said in a statement that the current stance of monetary policy remained appropriate, given the outlook for inflation and growth.
