Bid to oust three Kamdar directors, two shareholders calling for EGM


PETALING JAYA: Two shareholders of Kamdar Group (M) Bhd, who collectively hold not less than one-tenth of the issued share capital of the company, are calling for an EGM to remove three directors and appoint two new ones.

The textile retailer said in a filing with the stock exchange yesterday that it had received a letter from Bipinchandra Balvantrai and Gautam Kamdar Bipinchandra, proposing to remove Kamal Kumar Kishorchandra Kamdar, Rajesh Kumar Gejinder Nath and Liang Ah Wah @ Frank Liang from the board with immediate effect.
