Boustead investing RM60m in latest hotel in Penang


KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Holdings Bhd is investing RM60mil in its sixth Royal Bintang Hotel which is being built in Penang and plans to have the seventh in Cherating, Pahang in two years.

Boustead Hotels and Resorts Sdn Bhd's director of operations Datuk Mokhtar Khir said on Friday the 180-room hotel in Penang was expected to be completed by early November. He said the group has five hotels. Four of them are four-star hotels -- The Royale Bintang Kuala Lumpur, The Royale Bintang The Curve, The Royale Bintang Resort and Spa Seremban and The Royale Bintang Damansara. The five-star hotel is The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur.
