Ekuinas upbeat about performance

THERE is a lot riding on private equity firms to show results and for Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas), the government-linked private equity firm controlled by Yayasan Ekuiti Nasional, the burden will be heavier due to the scrutiny from the Government and the public.

The firm will be releasing the financial results for the year ended Dec 31, 2012 (FY12) in April but this may be overshadowed by the elections or its aftermath, widely speculated to be held by mid-April.
