Supermax to expand presence into Latin American and Middle Eastern countries

KUALA LUMPUR: Glove manufacturer Supermax Corp Bhd is targeting to “stretch” its presence into Latin American and Middle Eastern countries to better serve its customers there.

“Egypt would be the gateway to the Northern African and Middle Eastern regions, while Uruguay would be the access to Latin America. These countries would be the springboard to build our brand in the global market. Currently, 69% of our production gloves are sold under our own proprietary brand,” said executive chairman-cum-group managing director Datuk Seri Stanley Thai at a media and analyst briefing yesterday.
