KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Bank Bhd
(HLB) has established a commercial banking unit, Hong Leong Bank (Cambodia) Plc (HLBCAM), in Cambodia.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, HLB said it had received the Certificate of Incorporation from the Ministry of Commerce, Cambodia, certifying that HLBCAM had been incorporated on Feb 18. The National Bank of Cambodia had on Jan 11 granted approval in principle to HLB to incorporate and operate the unit.
