MyEG net profit up 21% to RM8mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s e-Government services provider MyEG Services Bhd recorded a 21.1% increase in group net profit to RM8.1mil for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2012, versus RM6.7mil previously.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MyEG said the group’s revenue grew by 13.4% to RM19.2mil from RM16.9mil previously, driven primarily by the higher volume of users for its Highway Code test-taking service and renewals of auto insurance and road tax on MYEG’s online portal at www.myeg.com.my.
