KUALA LUMPUR: Participation of more global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the local automotive industry in the next two years is expected to drive car prices down.
Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) chief executive officer Mohamad Madani Sahari said the involvement of global OEMs in the local industry would reduce vehicle cost itself, mainly export cost.
