CIMB Research Neutral on water sector after Selangor’s RM9.7b takeover offer

KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Equities Research is maintaining its Neutral call on the water sector and Neutral on Puncak Niaga pending details about Selangor government's RM9.7bil takeover offer for the four state water operators.

“Two are owned by Puncak Niaga and one by Gamuda. Valuations look slightly positive for Gamuda. Puncak and Gamuda have not responded,” it said on Thursday.
