Suzuki’s bad record in Europe

FRANKFURT: Japanese carmaker Suzuki has failed to post a profit for its European operations in four years and cannot say when it will cease posting losses, according to its regional chief.

“The year 2008 was the last time we were profitable we haven't been in the black ever since. If that continues for much longer than I am in serious difficulties,” Suzuki Europe chief Takanori Suzuki told Germany's Wirtschafts-Woche.
