Preservation of heritage is vital, bravo for reopening of Majestic Hotel

AFTER 28 years, the grand Majestic Hotel, one which was the centre of activity before Malaysia's independence, reopened its doors early this month.

Last Saturday night over 1,000 guests, that included the who's who in the business world, dined at the hotel at its grand opening. Not many had thought this hotel some of whom have had fond memories of the hotel which began in 1932 would ever have re-opened given its troubled times and how it was turned into an art gallery.
