PETALING JAYA: Malaysia has been ranked 71 out of 144 countries in the “Economic Freedom for the World: 2012 Annual Report” published by the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (Ideas).
The report, produced in partnership with Canada’s Fraser Institute and 86 other think tanks globally, saw Malaysia’s position jump seven places from 78th in 2011 to 71st in 2012.
