KLCI wraps up volatile November, down nearly 65 points


KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips closed higher on Friday, after a volatile month of November which saw the FBM KLCI hitting an all-time closing high of 1,675.69 on the first day and then sliding most of the month to below the key 1,600 level.

At the close, the KLCI was up 3.51 points or 0.22% to 1,610.83. Turnover was 1.19 billion shares valued at RM2.215bil. The number of gainers increased to 382 from earlier in the day, while there were 320 losers and 325 counters unchanged.
