KUALA LUMPUR: Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas) has set a 2014 target to list its freshly-merged offshore supply vessel (OSV) unit Icon Offshore Bhd even though the company is “already eligible” to be on the market.

Ekuinas chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad said Icon Offshore had the necessary track record to be floated today, but the management feels it can maximise value by growing the company privately.
