KUALA LUMPUR: Banks including Public Bank and Hong Leong Bank and telcos came under some selling pressure on Tuesday, dragging the FBM KLCI down 14 points at the midday break.
At 12.30pm, the KLCI fell 14.07 points or 0.85% to 1,639.97. Turnover was 594.65 million shares valued at RM726.54mil. Losers beat gainers 356 to 173 while 305 counters were unchanged.
