Money transfer service from CIMB Islamic and MoneyGram


KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Islamic and MoneyGram, a leading global money transfer company, have reached an agreement to offer international money transfer services at more than 400 CIMB branch locations throughout Malaysia. According to the World Bank, an estimated RM21bil (US$7bil) in remittances flowed out from Malaysia in 2010. To meet the growing demands for a reliable money transfer service, MoneyGram continues to expand and now has 1,000 locations that offer MoneyGram across Malaysia. CIMB Islamic executive director and chief executive officer Badlisyah Abdul Ghani, "This collaboration signifies our commitment to offer customers a fast and reliable money transfer service." MoneyGram's Asia Pacific vice president Nick Cunnew said, "Our growing network in Malaysia will bring our customers closer together through the money that travels across our network every day.”
