Health inversely proportional to social media


A LOT has been written of late about the adverse effects of social media. Findings have shown that it puts a strain on family relationships, causes people to be individualistic, anti-social and, in some cases, affecting interaction and communication skills. The list goes on.

The one that caught my attention recently, which I felt was interesting at the same time, was a study that linked social media to weight gain. In a nut shell, the study showed that those who are hooked to Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites are more likely to gain weight.
