Extension of Datasonic contract

PETALING JAYA: Datasonic Group Bhd has been awarded an extension of contract by the Home Affairs Ministry for the provision of maintenance services for the Immigration Department’s equipment, software and passport issuance application system.

The company said in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia that the contract was now extended from Aug 1, 2012 to July 31, 2013 as an extension of the services awarded in July last year. The contract was extended for an additional sum of RM7mil.
