KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA) expects the Malaysian plastics industry to grow at a slow pace in the second half of 2012 in view of the prolonged European Union debt crisis and a slower growth of the global economy.
MPMA President Lim Kok Boon said for the first six months of 2012, the Malaysian plastics industry registered total turnover of RM8bil, “comparable to the first six months of 2011.”
