VEGOILS-Market factors to watch Oct 2 Tuesday
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets on Tuesday.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Malaysian palm oil futures tumbled to the lowest in more than two years on Monday as investors fretted over rising stocks that may outpace slowing demand and the uncertain global economic outlook.
* U.S. soybean futures tumbled more than 2.5 percent on Monday, reversing similar gains from the previous session, as a record-fast harvest pace and reports of larger-than-expected yields pressured prices.
* Brent crude slipped on Monday as signs of economic weakness in Asia and a looming recession in the debt-saddled euro zone tempered more optimistic U.S. manufacturing data.
MARKET NEWS
* Stocks in major markets rallied on Monday after a survey showed the U.S. manufacturing sector expanded last month for the first time since May and as the results of Spain's bank stress test drove gains in European financial shares.
* Commodities closed up broadly for a third day on Monday as prices adjusted to a weak dollar after fourth quarter trading opened to nagging worries over Europe.
