KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara's RM5.7bil foreign exchange loss incurred in the early 1990s had been amortised in the 10 years to 2002, according to Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai.
The loss was reported in the central bank's annual report for 1993 when Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was finance minister, Lim said.
