WHILE the Education Blueprint 2013 to 2025 has its merits, the passion to drive the quality of education higher will ultimately determine the success and execution of building up the nation's talent pool to match the increasing demands of a knowledge-based economy.
With this first step made towards addressing the weaknesses in the present education system, industry players say more still need to be done. Although 11 areas have been identified as key “shifts” for reforms in the Education Blueprint 2013 to 2025, employers are calling for more scrutiny and periodical review to follow through with its objectives come year 2025.
